The Captain Lord Mansion is a beautiful and very romantic Bed & Breakfast in the lovely town of Kennebunkport.  Rick and Bev, the owners, have mastered all the romantic extras that make this Bed & Breakfast extraordinary!  The location is beautiful and the Mansion is situated at the head of a sloping village green in the center of the Port’s historic residential district and overlooks the Kennebunk River.  Within easy walking distance are the Port’s shops, galleries and restaurants.  

The service is top notch with friendly staff that are very welcoming and have your every comfort in mind.  A delicious Breakfast includes three courses and that includes their delicious muffins piping hot from the oven!  The main entrée course varies day to day and all are scrumptious dishes.  Additional food service includes: Early Riser’s Coffee and Tea, Afternoon Tea, Dessert, Fruit, and non-alcoholic beverages. 

All the accommodations at the Mansion are decorated with period furnishings and each guest room is distinguished by a different theme.  All rooms are luxurious and feature fireplaces, antique furniture to include four poster beds, queen or kings that are extremely comfortable with fine linens, down comforters and pillows.  Romantic touches are everywhere with fresh flowers, plants and European fine art displayed throughout the inn.

 
The bathrooms offer every luxury with heated marble floors, many with Jacuzzi bath tubs and showers with body jets, comfy robes and thick towels.  Please note, not all rooms offer Jacuzzi tubs, so please confirm what your room setup is before booking.  Each room comes equipped with a refrigerator filled with complimentary soft drinks and waters, Wifi, CD player with romantic cds, Flat Screen TVs, and complimentary newspaper at your door weekday mornings.

The Memory Garden is a beautiful garden on the property.  In the summer months the grounds are filled with flowers, flowering trees and shrubs.  Each time a guest celebrates their tenth visit, a stone is placed in the garden with their name engraved on it.  The stones wind their way around a beautiful fountain (The fountain of Love).  The owners also offer bikes that you may ride around Kennebunkport.

  

The Captain Lord Mansion offers spa treatments and specialize in Couples Spa Experiences.   Massages, facials, body scrubs are offered and all treatments are performed by their award-winning, licensed staff of “YourBodyworks” using the finest in skin-care products.
