Prosecco is a truly romantic restaurant loaded with details that are inspired by the beauty of Venice, which makes it perfect for that romantic dinner the two of you so deserve!  The setting is enchanting with white tablecloths, candles, fresh flowers, golden walls, ornate wooden chandeliers and wall sconces, a charming vine trellis covering the window, and a beautiful bar that welcomes you when you first enter the room.  The service is very attentive, knowledgeable, and respectful of your privacy.  You are offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco once you have been seated – very fitting considering the name of this elegant restaurant.

Prosecco is devoted to featuring Italian sparkling wines and offers a wine list of at least 50 sparkling wines along with as many as 100 still wines.  The dinner menu features seasonal favorites from all 20 regions of Italy created by Executive Chef Mark Sparacino to include delicious appetizers (my favorite is the Polipetti e Calamari Grigliati), salads, pasta and risotto selections, fresh fish, game and meat selections (my husband’s favorite was the Costoletta d’Agnello – rack of lamb).  The desserts are fabulous and all made in house (my favorite – gelato-daily selection and house made).

I loved sitting at this elegant bar one evening after dinner for a drink, couldn’t resist because it looked so elegant.  They offer finger foods and small pizzette, you may also order from the full dinner menu.  It is perfect if you want to just stop by for an elegant late night drink or pre/post theater rendezvous.  The dress code is business casual, and everyone there was dressed appropriately which makes it again, a perfect date spot!

The chef has a Carpaccio bar, with selections of thinly sliced meats including duck, tenderloin and air-dried beef and offers pleasant view of the kitchen with a bar height counter and 8 bar stools to choose from.

* Beginning in May, Prosecco offers outdoor dining al fresco with beautiful flowers and white linen tables and umbrellas.
